A family are looking for a temporary, sole charge nanny to care for their two children three days per week while they are on holiday in the Hague. They will be arriving at the end of June and returning to Vancouver on 30th August. They are finalising the exact dates you will be needed, they are also happy to discuss with the nanny. The hours will be 9 - 6pm. They would also like some babysitting during the evenings.

 
You will be caring for a nine year old and four year old. Both children are high energy and will benefit from a nanny who can create an active weekly schedule. The children enjoy swimming, museums, being outdoors, board games, arts and crafts. The family are researching activities but would appreciate a proactive nanny who has lots of ideas and suggestions.
 
The eldest has ADHD and needs some support with educational activities. He responds well to someone who can set clear, consistent boundaries.
 
Interviews will be arranged via Zoom as the family are in Canada.
 
This position will suit a proactive, organised, engaging nanny who can provide structure, who can guide the children and keep them stimulated with varied activities and cultural pursuits.
 

For this role you can be self employed or work under Regeling Dienstverlening aan huis.


Agency requirements: 

  • Applicants must have an EU passport or already have a permit or visa for the Netherlands. 

  • A minimum of three years of full-time professional childcare experience

  • Valid pediatric first aid

  • A recent police check to register.
