Household dynamic:
This energetic family, alongside their sweet puppy and two-year-old, loves their life in Boulder! At 2 years old, their daughter loves to play! From running around in the woods to riding her balance bike, and going on picnics with her nanny, she loves to be out and about in the world. She will begin attending preschool part-time this fall, so a candidate should be open to slight changes in the schedule.
The parents are avid skiers, from backcountry ski trips to heliskiing, and take every opportunity to head to Aspen and hit the slopes. A nanny who is excited to travel alongside the family and their daughter will be key! The family describes themselves as direct communicators who work well with positive, solution-minded people. Their ideal candidate will consider themselves a career nanny and be excited to join their family for years to come. In addition to their nanny, the family works with a house manager. They hope to grow their family in the future. Someone who brings a down-to-earth, collaborative, and warm energy will be a great fit for the role!
Ideal candidate:
This position is ideal for a candidate who is solution-oriented, has a flexible sense of adventure, loves to collaborate, and is excited to wear multiple hats in their role! Someone who is knowledgeable about child development and who brings an activity-focused approach to care will be a great fit- finding local outings while traveling and being an engaging playmate is key!
Responsibilities include creating an environment for the child(ren) to grow and thrive, child-related household tasks including but not limited to meal prep, tidying, organizing of children’s areas, and errands, before and after school routines, coordinating activities, and traveling with the family throughout the year. Family assisting duties will be asked and appreciated, especially light pet care for the family’s dog.
While not a requirement for the role, the family would love to work with a candidate who speaks French or has a background in Early Childhood Education!

Valid passport
Knowledge and experience with age-appropriate developmental milestones
Fully vaccinated and boosted (when eligible) against COVID-19 prior to starting date in accordance with applicable laws
