Temporary Travel Nanny

Exciting temporary booking with one family for two occasions visiting Italy and France!

A lovely family Eden have placed their permanent nanny with are looking for a temporary nanny to join them when they travel to France and Italy. Ideally the family would like to book the same nanny for both occasions, so their little girl has some consistency.

The little girl is active and friendly, very curious, a bit shy among strangers but quickly warms up to new friends. Normally eats and sleeps well, one midday nap plus 10-11 hours overnight. She generally enjoys travel and exploring the new places she is introduced to so it is usually quite easy to entertain her on holiday. She loves being outside, seeing animals/birds and going swimming. She also enjoys books, “dancing” to music, playgrounds (especially swings and slides), puzzles and colouring.

The family are looking for someone to join them in Lake Como and Lake Garda from the 1^st to 9^th June but could be flexible if the suitable candidate could only join them for a shorter period, as long as the candidate can commit to 1st  to 4th June (Lake Como) at a minimum.

They are then looking for someone to join them again in Loire Valley from 14^th to 23^rd July but would also consider  a shorter period, as long as the candidate can commit to 19th to 23rd July at a minimum.

Accommodation: Own room in hotel or villa

General duties:

• Intention is candidate will have sole charge when on duty but there will inevitably be some mix of sole and shared charge duties – family are attending a wedding and family reunion
• Playing with the little girl, going for walks and engaging her in activities and taking her on outings at the holiday location
• Following her routine/nap schedule
• Preparing meals if/when required and feeding little girl
• Babysitting or overnight care if required (will be discussed with parents prior to booking) – at least one night in June, and another in July, as parents have evening engagements.
• Bed and bath routine

Candidate requirements:

• Italian and/or French speaking would be helpful but not required
• Ideally the family would like to find someone who can cover both bookings
• Experience working with similar ages
• Someone who is easy going, flexible, confident in navigating new environments and able to get on with supporting during the holiday periods
