Nanny (Live-in or Daily)

Daily or Live-in Nanny role in Oxfordshire caring for 1 child – separate annex provided with a combative salary on offer!

Job Summary: Are you looking for either a daily or live-in nanny role in the beautiful countryside of Oxfordshire? Apply now! This wonderful family are moving from Monaco and require a friendly and down to earth nanny to join their family caring for their 20-month-old son. It is important the nanny is confident with babies as the family hope to expand their family in the future. For live-in nannies they can offer a lovely separate annex next door to the family home for their own private space when not on duty or they are equally as happy to consider daily candidates if local. This family aren’t looking for your typical career nanny, they are open to all experince levels, the most important requirement for them is your passion for children & your friendly/personable character!

Working Days & hours: 5 days per week, 8 – 10 hours per day (the family require flexibility due to parents jobs, however are very respectful of the nanny’s personal time and the schedule will be arranged well in advance)

Dad works full-time and is often away travelling, however Mum will be around as she works from home and also enjoys being hands on with the children– therefore you must be comfortable working a mix of sole and shared charge in a team with Mum.

Accommodation: A beautiful separate nanny annex

General duties:

• A mix of sole and shared charge childcare duties
• Child development activities
• Toddler classes & playgroups
• All nursery duties, keeping the child’s areas clean and tidy
• Cooking healthy meals for the child

Candidate requirements:

• Must be dog friendly
• Must be a confident driver
• Willingness to travel with the family when required approx. once per month
• Languages which would be considered a bonus: German, French, or Italian
• Experience with babies would be a huge bonus
• The family are looking for flexibility and someone who has a positive muck-in attitude around the home. Although they do employ cleaner, therefore there will be no cleaning duties , however someone who can use their initiative i.e. emptying the dishwasher if needed
