CP1038 Temporary – Nanny (Rota)

Temporary Rota Nanny required for 3-year-old and 13-year-old, located in Brooklyn, New York, Salary $300 – $500 per. day. Rota 3.5 days on/3.5 days off. Start November 2023. 3-month contract.

The role is suitable for USA passport holders or those with a Green card and legally able to work in the USA.

A highly recommended client is seeking an energetic, caring, and passionate Nanny to assist with the daily care and development of their young child.

As a Nanny, you will be responsible for meeting the daily needs of the child from waking up to bedtime; providing a high standard of care and ensuring they are reaching all age-appropriate milestones, escorting them to and from activities and creating a fun learning environment for them to thrive. Activities and play should focus on their educational and emotional development.

The ideal candidates will hold relevant childcare qualifications, have previous experience working in private households, and be committed to the role, with a flexible approach. Experience in working in the early years is required. Speaking Italian is beneficial to your application but not essential. You will work on rotation with another Nanny.

The family is usually based in Brooklyn and has a home in New Jersey. They also like to travel internationally.

The proposed working schedule will be 3.5 days on/3.5 days off working from Thursday evening (handover) to Sunday.

The working hours will be 12 – 14 per day. The young girl wakes at 7 am and goes to bed at approximately 7 pm. Overnight care may be required and additional payment will be provided for sleep-in and travel. The candidate must be willing to work Thanksgiving and Christmas to cover the current nannies’ holiday.

Accommodation can be considered for the right candidate. The role would ideally suit a candidate already living in the city.

The salary on offer is $300 – $500 per day. Additional pay will be provided for overnight stays.
