Rota Nanny ( mandarin speaker)

Job Summary:  This professional couple who are expecting their third child in July are looking for two rota nannies. They employ a British nanny who works full time, and they are looking for two Mandarin speakers working in a rota to teach the children mandarin. The rota nanny will be working alongside the other nanny caring for the children. They family have a maternity nanny booked for the baby to start with.

Accommodation: own bedroom and bathroom will be provided while on duty

General duties:

• Sole charge care – working alongside another nanny.
• Teaching the children mandarin
• Preparing healthy nutritious meals for the children
• Planning and taking them to activities, playdates etc
• Organising educational games that will encourage their development and hit their milestones.
• Encouraging the children when old enough to pick up after them selves and promote good manners.
• Clean up after the children, meal prep, games etc, keeping their areas tidy and organised.
• Communicating with the parents on what needs to be replaced in terms of toys, arts and crafts supplies etc.
• Responsible for the children laundry
• Potential to travel with the family.

Candidate requirements:

• Native Mandarin or fluent mandarin speaker is essential.
• Fluent English is also important.
• Experience working with young children and confident with all their milestones.
• Baby experience
• Excellent communication skills and able to work in a team.
• High energy, empathetic but capable of discipline
• Strong preference for someone with teaching experience

Salary: £65,000 plus per year (please indicate your salary requirements)
