Amazing sole charge nanny role with a 7 month old boy – Starting ASAP!

Job Summary: Mum and dad who are both full-time professionals are looking for a nanny to take on sole charge childcare of their son who is 7 months old. Both parents work from an office but can be in and out hybrid. This is a role for someone with a passion and loves children and not set in their ways to adjust with mum on routines and structure.

Days, hours and salary options:

• 55hrs a week contract – £52,500 – £58,000 gross per annum
• 60hrs a week contract – £56,000 – £60,000 Gross per annum

General duties:

• Looking after the child’s needs, welfare, development and health and safety.
• Follow development milestones (motor and social among others) and assist with the continual development through physical, social and educational play
• Finding age-appropriate classes, organize activities, play dates (as age appropriate), etc. as well as assisting with his development through interactions and games
• Preparing healthy balanced meals, assist with introduction of solid foods and weaning, bottle feeding (also assisting with/organizing grocery shopping in relation to the child’s meal plan)
• General nursery duties
• Bedtime routine, including Bath time
• Supporting baby’s overall routine as agreed with the parents including nap time – adjusting nap time based on awake windows as required during the child’s development
• Supervision of the child at all times they are in the Nanny’s care
• Taking the child to the GP if necessary
• Childcare housekeeping responsibilities, including Children’s laundry/ironing as needed, tidying up after playing/cooking, maintaining the nursery organized and clean, shopping for the children’s needs as required)
• Prepare meals for the family twice a week

Candidate Requirements:

• Right education and activities
• First aid training is essential
• Non smoker
• Ideally 5yr experience
• Exp with babies and young children
• Longevity on CV is massive bonus
• Native French or Spanish is a plus – not required
• Education in child development also a plus
