Qualified + Experienced ROTA Private Educator/Nanny Needed For Travel-Heavy Global Family
A loving family that travels extensively is seeking a caring, experienced, and professional private educator/nanny for an 8-year-old for a long-term commitment!
Start Date: The position will start as soon as they find the right fit!
Age of Child: 8 years old
Schedule: Full-time, rotational schedule of 2-3 weeks on/off with 24/7 availability expected during working weeks. Rotation may be shorter or longer pending the family’s travel schedule. Flexibility is key in this position!
Compensation: The family is offering an hourly and overtime rate equivalent to an annualized base compensation of $125-175k/year. Compensation will be commensurate with experience.

This position is ideal for someone who is a qualified grade-school teacher with a Bachelor’s degree in education, and who has classroom experience, private educator experience, and nanny experience. Someone who is a strong leader, a skilled multitasker, and enjoys coordinating with other staff members in busy and changing environments will be a great fit for this role. A candidate who is a forward thinker, works well in a team environment, and enjoys extensive travel will thrive! Previous live-in and/or ROTA experience is imperative.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, following the provided school curriculum, preparing lesson plans, executing lessons, grading, and logging student progress. Managing the child’s calendar and schedule and overseeing the daily care of the child. Traveling with the child with or without the parents. As this is a fully-staffed environment, the candidate will not be expected to drive, cook, or clean in this position.
Bachelor’s degree or higher in early childhood education or an education-related field
Proven experience as a nanny/teacher/private educator and/or governess. The family is seeking candidates with 15 years of combined experience. Preference for candidates with 20+ years of combined experience are preferred.
Proven longevity in previous positions lasting 3+ years in duration
Live-in and/or rotational experience
Fully vaccinated against COVID-19 prior to start date in accordance with applicable laws
Able to provide 24/7 care for 3 or more weeks at a time
Travel ready with little notice
Genuine love of children
Proactive, resilient, flexible, levelheaded, team player
