Sisters aged eight and six need a three day nanny/family assistant. The days required are Wednesday from 10 - 6pm and Thursday from 12 - 8pm they are vital. The third day can be either a Monday or Tuesday from 12 - 8pm. They would like someone who can commit for a minimum of a year.
During the day the girls are attending local Dutch school so you will have time for family assistant duties. Duties will include laundry, running errands, helping with translations (if you speak Dutch) and tidying up. They would love a nanny who is happy to see where they need help and use their initiative to support the family.
After school the children will have activities, playdates, a piano lesson. If they are at home the parents would like you to do baking, crafts, creative activities or park trips with the children. During the school holidays they would like you to organise trips to the Zoo and museums and provide activities for the children
The parents practice respectful parenting. They would like a nanny who acknowledges and understands the children's feelings. Someone who becomes part of the family. They value an open, honest and direct approach to communication.
This is a sole charge role, the dad will be working from home.
The family mainly eat an organic diet and avoid processed food. They may require some help with basic meal prep but in general you won't need to cook for the family.
The parents travel for work however the Grandma lives locally and is able to help out with proxy parenting.
It's great if you speak Dutch but they are also happy with an English speaking nanny. The parents also speak Italian and previously worked with Italian aupairs so would also be delighted with an Italian speaker.
It's vital you are happy to cycle the electric Urban Arrow bakfiets.

For this role you can be self employed or working under Regeling dienstverlening aan huis.
Agency requirements:
Applicants must have an EU passport or already have a permit or visa for the Netherlands.
A minimum of three years of full-time professional childcare experience
Valid pediatric first aid
A recent police check to register.
