Live in Nanny in Dubai

Job Summary:  We are looking for a professional and qualified career nanny to join the fully staffed household of an expatriate family based full time in Dubai. The role is purely Nannying and looking after and supporting the toddler in her development and education, organising activities to enable this.

The toddler is multi lingual ( English, French and Arabic) and they would love for someone who spoke another language to continue expanding her language range! The family employ a firm but fair approach to discipline and you will need to be able to deal with inevitable toddler tantrums!

She is a bright and curious little girl, presently attending nursery 5 days per week from 8am- 2pm and has a busy schedule with playdates , music sessions and play ground sessions in the afternoons. You will be responsible for menu planning, preparing her lunchbox and cooking simple meals ( A chef is also employed) . Also the bathtime routine.

Mum is very included and hands on. When the baby arrives they will have a night nanny, but the expectation is for you to take over care of both children after a few months when baby is in a good routine and Mum is ready. There is also an assisting nanny who shares the nanny / housekeeping duties so you will not be alone taking care of the 2 children.

We need someone who is respectful of cultural sensitivities and the family provide a simple uniform for their staff and a modest dress code.

There are no general housekeeping duties however you will be in charge fully of everything to do with the children- from washing up their plates, cleaning and sterilizing bottles to the children’s wardrobe management ( The housekeeper does the laundry) and also tidying up the play space after each play session. When travelling there may be some night duties- days off generally will be given in lieu upon return.

The family also have 2 friendly small dogs so you must be happy to be around animals.

The perfect person for this role will be a well organised, mature, fit active and qualified nanny, with toddler and baby experience but also who has previously been with a family for a long time and been on the journey before. A calm, kind and friendly yet fun personality.

Accommodation: Own bedroom and bathroom in a separate wing of the house. When travelling you may need to share a room with the children.

Candidate requirements:

• Must have childcare qualification NNEB or equivalent
• A Simple uniform will be provided
• Must be happy with animals
• Prepared to travel
• Must speak an additional language ( Other than Arabic and French as they already have these covered)
