Part time Child friendly housekeeper

A part time housekeeper is needed with an ASAP start – Family can offer flexibility and additional hours for the right candidate!

Job Summary:  A lovely client is searching for a part time housekeeper to assist with the smooth running of the home. Family has a Labrador dog and although they aren’t any pet duties involved the candidate would be asked to be comfortable to work in a home with pets.  The family ideally would be looking for 20 hours per week but can offer increasing these hours for the right candidate.

General duties:

• Water indoor and outdoor plants
• Wash and sweep the limestone footpath to the front door
• Wash bed linen frequently
• Stock taking and replenishing items that are running low
• Wash and launder clothes, pillow cases and towels
• Clean window blinds and ledges
• Run occasional errands

• General cleaning of the home

Candidate requirements:

• whilst dog walking isn’t needed, candidate needs to be happy with Labrador and willing to clean his bed and feed him.
• The family are looking for a very caring person who is calm, quiet and careful with the house and belongings. Very good spoken English and able to read notes in English.
• sole charge babysitting of daughter (10) needed between 5 and 8pm once or twice a term – other babysitting would be very helpful.
