GBN 397 – Nanny/Governess, Live-out, Singapore, G 2.5 years, £65,000 – £80,000 net per annum D.O.E

A professional, busy, and frequent travelling family, located in Singapore is seeking an experienced, professional and caring nanny/governess for the care of their daughter, born in September 2020. The ideal candidate will hold both childcare and teaching qualifications and be confident in teaching the girl to speak in English and assist in her English study programmes as she develops through the different ages and stages and ensure she is reaching her milestones adequately. Their goal is to enrol their daughter into an English/American international school in the coming years so language development and knowing/learning to support the U.K/US curriculum is essential. 

The ideal candidate will be committed to her career in childcare and be committed to the overall well-being and development of their child. It is very important to the family that the candidate is kind, caring and trustworthy. Along with an energetic and positive outlook, creating a happy and joyful environment for the girl to learn in. They also employ a Montessori teacher who you will work together with at times, therefore, an appreciation for the Montessori style of learning is essential.

 The family travel frequently, to Europe, Japan, New Zealand etc. Therefore, a candidate who is flexible, ready to travel at short notice and adapts well to different time zones is preferred. This is a live-out role, separate accommodation close to the family’s home will be provided, during travel it will either be separate accommodation, or your own private bedroom. They are respectful of privacy and enjoy theirs. Whilst a driver isn’t essential, it is preferred if you can as it would be helpful in case of assistance for errands, such as going to the supermarket or Pharmacy, on occasions. This is a fully staffed household; therefore, a team player is necessary for the well-functioning of the household. The working hours are 5 days per week, 8 – 10 hours daily. The family would like to hire someone by April/May 2023 and are ready to interview/trial immediately.

Requirements:

Fluent in English

Teaching qualifications

Childcare qualifications

Familiar with Montessori approach

Minimum 5 years of professional or personal experience.

First Aid Certificate (in date)

Excellent contactable recent working references

Police check/DBS clear
