Lovely private family based in W14 (Brook Green near Hammersmith) with three children aged G11, G8 and B7 are looking for a well-educated Nanny. This role will be on a sole charge basis however mum works mostly from home and dad occasionally. The family is seeking a native or fluent English-speaking candidate with a dynamic and ‘muck-in’ attitude. Excellent organisation is a must, thinking ahead to tomorrow’s schedule, as well as organising the children’s schedules looking to the month/s ahead amidst the family’s broader plans, planning the logistics in this three-child household with after-school clubs, play dates and FaceTime tutors as well as homework support. Further duties include school runs, preparing healthy meals, running errands and walking/ feeding the dogs (the family have 4 small Chihuahua x dogs and a cat). The family employs a cleaner 3/ week and a housekeeper 2/ week. The family has a second home in the Cotswolds (1hr from Paddington by train, or 1.5 hrs from the house by car) where they spend many weekends and school holidays throughout the year. The ideal candidate will be happy to travel to and from the Cotswolds and/or stay over while the family are in the countryside, and/or travel with the children from school on a Friday night (with concurrent shift of hours), although this is not essential.  Three full days 7am to 7pm and two half days (which move weekly depending on parental work schedule) during term time, 8am-7pm during school holidays.  Family is happy to consider 7am to 7pm with extended 2 hour lunchbreak as an alternative.  You will be required full time when either parent is travelling abroad, with occasional proxy parenting when both parents are away.  Driver is essential (manual car provided on duty and can be used by the nanny on weekends and to commute when not needed by family). Offering a salary of £55,000 – £60,000 gross per annum dependent on experience. Role to commence ASAP.
