CONNECTICUT, New York + travel: March start, driver essential (J1 visa supplied for nanny under 26 years) £££££

March 2023 start in CONNECTICUT, USA:  We are seeking a young, fun *Norland-trained Nanny* for clients in Connecticut USA. Please kindly note that due to strict USA visa laws the nanny needs to be under 25 to apply for the J1 visa and a confident driver is also required.

Starting in March - this will be a really fun opportunity for a Norland-trained nanny who wants to see a bit of the world and get some overseas experience. Our clients currently have 2 children; G6.5 & B4.5 years and a baby boy (born September 2022 with own Maternity Nanny until end March). 

The children are close siblings, interacting well with each other and consequently like to do things together. They have a good social network and attend a variety of clubs & activities, with their school/nursery approximately a 10 min drive away. The new baby was born in September 2022 and the family have a Maternity Nanny for 6 + months to support the family until end March. The nanny’s primary responsibility will be the baby once the maternity nanny leaves but they should feel comfortable support/supervising all 3 children on occasion/when needed.

Family are looking for a March 2023 start for the new nanny to start.

The nanny will have private accommodation on a separate floor to the parents. The family are based in a truly delightful location (New Canaan, Connecticut) which is close proximity to NYC and with good train links further afield - so the best of both worlds! The accessibility of NYC is easy, with the benefits of being based in beautiful city green belt with great shops, restaurants and activities. Family also have a house in the West Village in New York, with an apartment that the nanny is welcome to use for weekends in the city.  The local community is very friendly, sporty and athletic.

Our clients are professionals, though mum works part time. Dad can work very long hours and frequently travels domestically and overseas, so the nanny will provide support to mum. It will be a shared care role with both parties working to best support the children’s daily needs.

A driver is essential for the role and for the nanny's personal enjoyment (car provided). Some domestic travel (eg: family in Colorado, skiing in winter + beach in summer).
