A family of three are seeking a Nanny/Housekeeper in the beautiful location of Penarth, Wales – Offering either a live in or live out option!
Job Summary: A lovely client is a Mum of two boys (2 and 5 years of age) who is looking to recruit a Nanny/Houskeeper. Both boys attend educational settings during the weekday (8.45-3.15) which is a shirt 15-minute walk away from family’s home. Mum works a hybrid of home and office based with Thursday off.
Accommodation: Own bedroom and bathroom
General duties:
Nannying:
- Get children ready for school and nursery in the morning
- Prepare breakfast cereals to offer the boys a choice for their breakfast.
- Shopping for the children for any clothes, that may be required.
- Wardrobe management for the children – Ensuring that all children’s clothes are size appropriate.
- Tidy away toys and children’s books
- Support age-appropriate activities for both children
- Take children to and from school 3 times per week
- Support homework of eldest son, and other key development and educational activities
- Meal preparation for the children
Household:
- General housekeeping duties
- Laundry and washing for the household, including sorting and putting clothes away
- Take delivery of online grocery orders and schedule online delivery
- Unloading and loading dishwasher
- Changing all bed linen
- Liaising pick up and collection of dry cleaning
- Let dog out for restroom breaks and walking once per day (weather permitting)
Candidate requirements:
- Dog friendly (family have 1 dog)
- Driver with own car a nicety but not essential
- DBS and paediatric first aid training
