A five year old little girl and her nine year old brother seek a nanny/family assistant. Ideally you can start in January 2023 and commit for 12 - 18 months.
The family are happy to offer either Monday - Friday 12 - 7pm or Monday - Thursday 12 - 7pm, the nanny can discuss the schedule with permanents during the interview.
The children attend school full time so your day would begin with family assistant duties and the afternoons would be focusing on the children.
The nine year old loves magic, football and arts and crafts. His five year old sister gets on well with her brother and loves playdates. The eldest has a peanut allergy so its; a peanut free household. After school they have playdates, might have activities to attend and will need help with homework and reading for school.
Manners are important to the family. The nanny must be confident enforcing boundaries.
The three most important qualities a nanny needs for this role are extremely reliable, proactive and use your initiative. A nanny who is creative with coming up with activities for the children will suit this fun and happy household. Someone who genuinely loves and cares for the children is upbeat and outgoing.
Duties will include standard nursery duties, cooking and food shopping for the family, keeping the playroom tidy, ensure the cupboards are stocked, planning menus and walking the dog daily. Using your initiative to help out where needed. They may need the nanny to proxy parent on occasion.
Both parents travel for work and work from home on occasion (they have office space so don't work in the family areas).
The family eat homemade mainly organic meals, not a huge amount of meat.
It's vital you are happy to cycle the electric bakfiets.
You will be employed by the family.
