An Afternoon Nanny is required by a welcoming family residing in the London area to take attentive care of their school-aged child and their baby from Monday to Thursday. The role involves school pickups, homework assistance, and the preparation of meals and snacks for the children. They seek a candidate who is mature, calm and experienced, flexible to work more hours during school holidays or for emergency cover. Someone who knows to drive would be a huge bonus for this job. A valid first aid qualification is required for this position.
Working hours: Monday to Thursday, 4:30 pm to 8:00/9:00 pm or Monday to Friday (full-time during school holidays)
Duties include:
- preparing healthy meals and snacks
- washing and dressing the children
- helping with homework
- doing after school activities with the children
- preparing recreational activities that will boost the children’s physical and mental development
- maintaining a clean and tidy environment for the children
- doing arts and crafts
- taking the children to parks and playgrounds
- preparing them for bed and reading them stories
