LONG-TERM, PART-TIME  (AFTERNOON) NANNY IN BARCELONA

Salary: 12 - 15 Euros per hour net

A kind and friendly local family based in the “Eixample Esquerra” in Barcelona, Spain is looking for a nurturing nanny to help them look after their 4-month-old boy. They are looking for someone who has previous experience working as a nanny and with infants. Ideally, the family would like someone that speaks Catalan. The nanny will be working on a part-time basis from Monday through Thursday or Friday starting from 16:00 until 20:00.

The parents are both working long hours and mostly from the office, although occasionally Mum would spend some days working from home. The family is looking for a nanny to be responsible for all the nanny duties and other childcare-related tasks. You must have previous experience working with infants as it will be a part of the nanny’s duty to prepare meals for the baby, assist the parents in weaning the baby, bathe, and do other chores associated with taking care of an infant. The family would value someone who has childcare qualifications and a first aid certificate. It would also be a bonus if the nanny has a special interest or background in music. 

The ideal candidate for this nanny role is active, playful, and trustworthy. The family is very flexible with their time and working schedule, so they would also appreciate someone who can adapt to the family routine and unanticipated work changes if any. This role is perfect for someone who has another job in the morning and/or is looking for long-term part-time work in the afternoons. 

Requirements. 

• Previous experience working as a nanny

• Previous experience working with infants

• Able to cook and prepare meals for the baby

• EU- ID or NIE holder
