[LD361] Full-time – Governess (live out)

Full-time English-speaking Governess required for B10 & G7 located in Cairo, Egypt salary £1200 – £1600 gross per week. Start ASAP.

A lovely family, located in Cairo is seeking a qualified, professional, experienced and energetic Governess for their two children to assist with their development.

As a Governess, your main focus will be assisting the children with education, supporting their school work and homework, providing extra classes, engaging through fun activities, arranging day trips and educational excursions, escorting them to and from school, and helping with their morning and evening routines.

The Governess will act as an appropriate role model/mentor to the children and promote good manners, etiquette and a healthy lifestyle. Both the children have extracurricular activities that you will be required to take them to. The young girl plays the piano and the boy is into his fitness.

The household is fully staffed including a housekeeper and driver, being able to work well within the team is essential for this role.

The ideal candidate will be a qualified governess (PGCE/MA/QTS) that has worked in private households and is looking for a long-term role.

The working schedule is 6/1 with Thursdays off, the working hours are Sunday to Wednesday 6 am – 7 am, and then resuming duties at 4 pm – 9/10 pm, Friday/Saturday will be 9 am – 9 pm.

The family travels during the year and you will be required to travel with them.

This is a live-out position with a separate apartment provided on the family grounds.
