Daily or Live in Nanny

Job Summary:   This is one of those families who want their nanny to feel like family. Mum runs her own business and is working a mix of home and office, she is still breast feeding so there is some overlap currently, but they want a nanny who is confident with two small boys, although the eldest is in Nursery on some days. If you are the kind of nanny who loves working in a team with a lovely mum but equally can take the lead, then this is your next family.

Accommodation: Top floor separate to the family with own bedroom, bathroom, tv (the family can put a microwave and kettle if you wish)

Salary: up to £40,000 gross per year

General duties:

• A mix of sole and shared care of both boys
• Nursery runs – local
• Planning activities arranging play dates and educational play for both boys
• Preparing healthy meals for the boys (the oldest does not eat meat)
• Keeping the children’s, rooms and play areas tidy, rotating toys and organising their wardrobes
• laundry for the children

Candidate requirements:

• Good communication skills- this is a mix of sole and shared, mum is looking for a team person to help her with the children, she is not looking to micromanage and would want your input and for you to take the lead at times
• A drive is required due to the location
• Good understanding of Nutrition and ability to cook a varied diet for the children
• Comfortable working in a home with a cat
• Excellent English skills
• Experience working with young children
• A happy, self-starter who is looking to be part of the family and is looking for long term
