GBN 362-Live-out nanny, Turks and Caicos, £1000+ net per week, ASAP

A lovely family, well recommended to Great British Nannies, based in Turks and Caicos (aka Paradise) is seeking an experienced and qualified nanny/governess for the care and education of their three children, a girl aged 5 and a boy aged 2. They also have an older daughter aged 14, who will be starting boarding school in September.

The family have a fully staffed household, the team work extremely well together, and the family are very welcoming and conscious that their staff are happy and motivated in their roles. Whilst Turks and Caicos is their main residence, they travel frequently throughout the year, mostly to Canada, which is home to them. The nanny will be required to travel with them on some of their trips. Therefore, a candidate who enjoys travel and is experienced in travelling with families would work well.

Due to the location of this role and the climate, the candidate would need to enjoy working in a hot climate and love the outdoors, especially swimming as they spend a lot of time outdoors and in their pool.

The ideal candidate will be an experienced nanny/governess who is kind, organised, respectful, clean and who is confident in supporting the children through their different ages and stages, implementing appropriate manners, etiquette, and discipline with a firm but fair approach and confident in assisting with educational activities as well as support the British Curriculum.

The family would prefer a candidate who is seeking their next long-term role within an excellent team. The start date is as soon as possible, however, they are willing to wait to find the right candidate as well as issue the work permit. Realistically looking at a June-July start date.

The family will offer a successful candidate live-in or live-out accommodation, depending on your preference along with a starting salary from £1000 net per week, depending on qualifications and experience. They would prefer a candidate who is educated in childcare and/or degree education. A confident driver will be necessary, and a car will be provided for use during work hours and on your day off. The working hours will be up to 50 per week from 5 days per week, days off flexible. They may be increased whilst travelling and additional days will be paid accordingly.

3+ years’ nanny/governess experience working in fully staffed household

Fluent English speaker

Seeking minimum of one year contract

Up to date Paediatric First Aid

Excellent previous references

DBS check cleared
