The family live in a beautiful property in Camden, London. Professional parents who both work, they work predominantly from the UK with little travel for work, and both have a hands-on family life with their little girl who is aged 4. She attends nursery 5 mornings a week and soon to add some full days at nursery to help in her lead up to school starting. Mum is pregnant and due her second (boy) in early 2022. When the baby arrives they will have a maternity nurse for the first few months to specifically help mum and baby. They have a full time current nanny who is moving on for personal reasons after a number of years, and they are keen to find an active, fun and down to earth new nanny. They have a part-time housekeeper, and a second property in the Hertfordshire countryside which they go to for the holidays. They have a cat so any prospective nanny must be cat friendly!
All childcare duties including working with the parents to establish healthy routines and rules, doing the nursery drop off and pick up, and school pick up and drop off from September, finding activities and taking the little girl to those activities including swimming, music and sport, organising and attending playdates, planning meals and cooking for the little girl.
You should be a professional career nanny, happy to focus on educational development for the little girl who has a passion for the outdoors and also bright, intelligent and also loves cuddles and arts and crafts. You should be happy to do the laundry for the child, and all nursery suites, and help plan fun activities.
You should be happy with both sole charge and shared charge, as this is important to be happy to work with the parents as they, for example do most of the bath time routines and you should be happy to muck in and get stuck into family life alongside them.
The parents want the primary focus on the little girl, and then future baby and want to ensure that they are happy, healthy and loved. When the baby arrives you should be comfortable to take directions from mum and the maternity nurse and when the maternity nurse finishes, you will have sole and shared charge with mum whilst she is on maternity leave. You should be flexible and just willing to lend an extra pair of hands whenever needed. You should be confident around babies, and also passionate about children's development and learning.
When the family go to their Hertfordshire countryside property in half term and holidays you will be expected to travel and stay with them (no travel abroad), so you should be happy to do this even if you live out and commute daily in London.
This is a live in or live out role, and the family will provide a private apartment a short walk from the main family home. You must be happy to stay with the family during the holidays in their countryside home, but you can go home at the weekends and have a flexi arrangement if you wish. The family home is in Camden , London,
Mondays to Friday 7am - 7pm
You should speak a fluent level of English.
You must have a full driving licence. You should be flexible and be willing to get fully involved in family life.
ASAP - the family will be respecting the government guidelines on COVID-19 to safely recruit their new long-term nanny.

Based in Mayfair, London, we work with a global network of clients in private homes, hotels, restaurants, chalets and yachts. We approach our services from a unique and fresh perspective. We aim to reply to email/calls within 24 hours, and when you call us you won’t get through to an annoying call centre or computerised systems. Our receptionists are highly briefed and excel in customer care and interaction. We love talking to both clients and candidates and believe that both are as equally important.
