This health-conscious family of four, as well as their beloved 11-year-old labradoodle, is all about an inclusive team environment in their home. They consider themselves lifelong learners and avid travelers who deeply value healthy living in body and mind, both professionally and personally. When it comes to their childcare philosophy, they foster an environment of positive reinforcement, supportive routines, emotional intelligence, and free play. Their 4-year-old is a deep thinker with a charming, playful side, while their 2.5-year-old is sociable and has a smile and wave for everyone who crosses her path! Both parents are regularly at home and enjoy catching moments of hands-on time with the kids throughout the day. They are seeking a full- time nanny to work alongside a part-time weekend nanny currently in place.
This position is ideal for a candidate with a deeply collaborative spirit and team mentality, who can balance going with the flow as well as maintaining structure as the day calls for it. Though nannies are responsible for 100% of childcare while on duty, the family appreciates someone who is comfortable to step back and manage other tasks when a parent has extra time for play. With one child in preschool and the other set to begin in February 2022, a flexible nanny willing to pitch in with various household duties, transportation for kids, and occasional errands is important to this role. Planning and preparing healthy meals will be essential, as the family deeply values health-conscious foods (no processed foods or added sugars). A nanny who is passionate about facilitating learning experiences and developmentally-minded playtime will be deeply valued in this home.
