Are you a professional career nanny with extensive experience caring for children under the age of five? Holgate Nannies has a lovely job which comes recommended by one of our nannies.
British/French family who relocated from the UK in February 2021 seek a nanny for their daughter who will be five in October and a son who will be one in December.
The days will be four weekdays. Three days from 8 - 6pm and one from 8 - 2pm. The Mum will be doing consultancy work so has some flexibility.
The eldest is delightful, she has a strong imagination, loves fact finding, is learning to read and write. She attends a local Dutch school. The Mum is investigating classes for the baby and nanny to attend once or twice a week. He enjoys a calm environment. Being able to adapt to his needs is a vital requirement. The baby was born during lock down so the family are searching for a very patient and understanding nanny as he hasn't had many opportunities for socialising with people other than family members.
This is a sole charge role although the Mum aims to take time off during school holidays. Mum will be working from home in a seperate office space and Dad will be working out of the house. They plan to do the school drop offs for the four year old. The nanny will take the baby to collect her from school. Giving the children dinner and doing bath time is part of your duties.
Candidates need a genuine interest in childcare, calm disposition, organised, upbeat, proactive and encourage the children’s independence. Confidence and experience both with baby's and school age children is a requirement for this position.
The family would prefer the nanny to avoid using public transport with the children. They are located in a very family friendly neighbourhood.
Preparing and feeding the children are part of your duties. The youngest might be on a dairy free diet.
The Mum may travel every six weeks for work in the future.
The family are vaccinated and ideally would like to work with a nanny who has been vaccinated against Covid19.
The family would like a nanny interested in travelling with them on occasion.
The youngest has peanut allergies which may require using an epi pen. It's a bonus if you have previous experience caring for a child with allergies.
