A beautiful stately home in Tugby, LE7, Leicestershire are looking for a new long-term housekeeper to look after their family home near Leicester. This is a live-in or live out position.
The couple own a beautiful stately home in Leicester which they have recently renovated into a private rental house with high end dining and a Michelin star Chef for their guests. They provide the highest quality of service to their clients and are now looking for a full time housekeeper to be in charge of all aspects of the interior of the property. The couple have chickens on the grounds and are allowing guests to bring pets with them for their stay.
Your role will be focused on the daily and deep cleaning of the household, including hoovering, dusting, and general cleaning of the whole house, including bedrooms, bathrooms, all public areas, back of house and staff areas. You should have knowledge of how to care for delicate materials and surfaces, including silverware and glassware. You will be responsible for restocking housekeeping inventory and work closely with the other housekeepers and house manager.
You should attend to guest requests and help with meal service when required. You should be happy to be flexible in your duties and take on extra duties and responsibilities including cooking, childcare, pet minding and chauffeuring.
The successful candidate should have strong initiative and an eye for detail. You should be confident with all aspects of housekeeping and be able to clean and care for the property to a high standard.
The property is based near Leicester. This is a live-in position. You will be provided with a self-contained one-bedroom apartment on site.
You should speak a good level of English.
You should be an experienced and skilled housekeeper.
