An international family who are based in Primrose Hill, NW3 are looking for a housekeeper/cook to work in their beautiful new home.
An international family of 4 with 2 young children aged 3 years and 5 months are looking for a new long-term housekeeper/cook to help look after their property in Primrose Hill, NW3. The family currently live in Hampstead but are moving their new, large 3000sft property in Primrose Hill in December. The new property has lots of stairs so you must be fit and energetic for this role! The property contains marble and high-end furnishings, so you must be experienced in cleaning and caring for fine furnishings. They currently employ a full-time nanny.
You should be confident with all aspects of housekeeping and be able to clean and care for the home to a high standard, with great attention to detail. You will be responsible for the daily and deep cleaning of the household and ensure it is always tidy and presentable. Making beds, cleaning bathrooms and all areas of the house. You will also be responsible for laundry, ironing, organising cupboards, cleaning the fridge and ensuring that the home is generally well presented and cared for.
You will also be responsible for cooking and meal planning for the family. They have Italian, Dutch and Indian heritage and enjoy spicy, flavoursome food. You must be happy to meal plan for the week and let the principal know what is required for the weekly online grocery order. The family prefer to eat healthy home-cooked food, often providing recipes for meals. The wife doesn’t eat pasta or gluten so often the whole family eats a gluten-free diet, so you must be a confident cook for this role.
The family are moving to Primrose Hill, NW3, London in December. This is a live-out role and you must be able to commute easily to the property.
You must speak a good level of English to communicate with the family.
You must be highly organised and have great attention to detail in relation to housekeeping. You should be happy to cook and follow recipes as the role involves preparing and creating lunches and dinner, as required.
