A single gentleman and his son are looking for a new long-term housekeeper to look after their penthouse in Soho, London, W1F.
The Principal is looking for a long-term housekeeper to work for him and support him in the upkeep of his penthouse in Soho, London, W1F. It is a beautiful property with 3 bedrooms and stunning high-end furniture and artwork. The Principal is a very private person so you should understand the importance of discretion and confidentiality for this role.
Your role will be focused on the daily and deep cleaning of the household, including hoovering, dusting, and general cleaning of the whole house. Cleaning bathrooms, kitchen, living and bedroom areas and ensuring the house is kept to high standards. Equipment used should be kept in good working order.
You will also be responsible for the Principal’s laundry, ironing and wardrobe management. You will ensure that the home is generally well presented and cared for.
You should be happy to run errands, including picking up the little boy from school occasionally, and grocery shopping and stocking food/drink/cleaning supplies. If you are happy to cook occasionally for them, this is a bonus but not essential.
The successful candidate should have strong initiative and an eye for detail. You should be confident with all aspects of housekeeping and be able to clean and care for the home to a high standard.
The Principal is based in Soho, London, W1F. This is a live-out role and you must be able to commute to the property easily.
You should speak a good level of English.
