Based in the heart of San Francisco, this bustling family of five has a strong commitment to ensuring everyone in their home feels happy, valued, and supported, and have a history of longevity in their caregivers. They are excited to raise their children to understand and exude kindness. Mom and dad’s work schedules have them working both in the office and remotely in their private and separate home offices during the week. The family enjoys taking week-long trips to their favorite destinations like Hawaii and the Hamptons, and also have a home in Sonoma County where they escape to for a long weekend. Their three children, aged 6, 4, and 1.5 years old are sweet and energetic, always ready for a craft project or to head outside to play with the family’s small, sweet, hypoallergenic dog. The two eldest will be attending school full-time come the fall. With many moving pieces in the home the family appreciates organization and attention to detail and are excited to welcome a household manager/nanny to be a beam of support for their home and children.
This position is ideal for a candidate who thrives in a role where they can feel autonomous and self-directed, while being able to offer a go with the flow spirit to adapt to a family’s routines. This exciting hybrid role will provide an opportunity to stretch one’s organizational and multitasking skills, and the family places a high level of trust in their caregiver to make the most out of their schedule and work routine. While the two eldest children are in school, responsibilities will focus on the family’s 1.5-year-old, while tackling organizational and household projects as time allows. This may include online grocery shopping, light pet care, organizing closets, inventory and vendor management, preparing meals provided by the family’s chef, as well as calendar management and ensuring the children are on top of their school work and activities. A candidate who is eager to travel with the family will be appreciated. These dual-career parents are excited to partner with their household manager/nanny to ensure their home runs smoothly and the children are thriving for years to come!
