A noble family currently residing in Jeddah is seeking a professional, highly experienced and educated nanny to provide quality childcare support for their very active toddler in a long term position. The nanny will perform all nursery duties as well as housework involving the child. The role requires someone with relative newborn experience and extensive private childcare background, preferably from teaching preschoolers. It will be ideal if the nanny is someone capable of adjusting easily to a new culture.

The family will be staying in Saudi Arabia and often times in California, so the nanny should be comfortable with this arrangement. Someone who has previous experience working in the Middle East is preferred.

Working hours: 6 days per week, 10 to 12 hours per day depending on the schedule

Accommodation: Own apartment with kitchen, bedroom, living space & bathroom and access to the family’s driver as needed.

Duties include:

• changing nappies and helping with potty/toilet training
• teaching general life skills, such as basic hygiene and manners
• creating activities and playdates
• preparing and administering healthy food for the little child
• preparing and assisting with bath time and bedtime
• cleaning and washing up after child’s meals
• reporting every activity and issue to the parents
• organising the child’s clothes
• doing laundry and ironing the child’s clothes
• making sure the child’s room is always clean
• doing occasional grocery shopping of the child’s supplies

The nanny must be a native English speaker, however, an Arabic fluent will be a huge advantage. A valid first aid qualification is a must.

The family would like the nanny to start around March or April.

Salary: £1000 to £1500 per week
