A family based in a beautiful area in Welwyn, Hertfordshire is in need of a full time live in nanny for their two school aged children. The nanny will be responsible for all nursery duties, cooking simple family meals and light housekeeping related to children.The family owns two cats so the nanny must be comfortable around animals.

It is essential that the candidate can drive an automatic car which the family will provide if needed. A valid first aid qualification is needed as well.

Working hours: Monday to Friday, from 6:35 am to 6:45 pm plus 2 nights of babysitting

Accommodation: Self contained bungalow (2 bedrooms, kitchenette, bathroom, living room)

Duties include:

  • making sure the children are up early in the morning
  • preparing healthy breakfast and snacks
  • washing and dressing them
  • helping with homework
  • doing after school activities with the children
  • preparing recreational activities that will boost the children’s physical and mental development
  • messy play with the children
  • maintaining a clean and tidy environment for the children
  • doing arts and crafts
  • taking them to parks and playgrounds
  • feeding the children and helping with the bedtime routine

The family is also open to candidates seeking a nanny housekeeper position. They are looking to hire as soon as possible.
