Islington based family is currently looking for an experienced and proactive full time live out nanny to provide quality childcare support for their very active toddler and their little baby in a long term basis. The nanny must be professional, initiative driven, healthy and fit, and someone who loves spending time with children outdoors. They also need a candidate who will be comfortable with the parents being around or coming home early to hang out with the children.

General nursery duties will be required and they would require a nanny with a muck in attitude to perform pa tasks and light housekeeping related to the children, ensuring the smooth running of the house. A valid first aid qualification is an important requirement for this role.

Working hours: Monday to Thursday, from 8:30 am to 6:30 or 7 pm and Friday from 8:30 am to 5 pm.

Duties include:

  • preparing milk
  • organising the children’s daily schedule
  • changing nappies
  • cleaning and sterilising bottles
  • setting up nap routine
  • washing and dressing them
  • playing with them
  • helping the toddler with potty/toilet training
  • teaching general life skills, such as basic hygiene and manners
  • creating activities and playdates
  • preparing and administering healthy food for the toddler
  • laundry and ironing after the children
  • cleaning up after the meals
  • maintaining the children's room and play areas tidy at all times

The family is looking for a confident driver to assist the family with school runs and the will be happy to provide an automatic car. They are flexible with the start date but they would prefer if the nanny could start before February next year.
