Reading UK - Live-in Governess/Nanny - 5-days pw incl. weekends - Boys 2, 4 & 6 yrs old

A professional and dedicated Governess/Nanny is required for three boys, aged 2, 4, and 6.

The core focus is on their holistic development, education, and overall well-being in a structured and loving home environment.
Working 5-days per week including weekends, with 2 mid-week days off.

Location is a large home set in acres of land, within a village approx 20 minutes from Reading/Newbury
Accommodation: Own ensuite bedroom within the main house.
A Housekeeper/Nanny is also employed.

Key Responsibilities
Educational & Developmental Focus
• Create and implement age-appropriate learning activities to stimulate cognitive, emotional, and physical growth.
• Foster language development through reading, storytelling, and interactive games.
• Cultivate a stimulating environment that encourages curiosity, independence, and a love of learning.
• Monitor and support the children's social skills and emotional intelligence.
• Provide academic support, including assistance with homework and school-related activities.
• Liaise with teachers to monitor academic progress and provide extra mentorship where needed.
Daily Care & Household Management
• Establish and maintain structured daily routines and schedules for the children.
• Plan weekly menus and prepare nutritious meals, while teaching good table manners and etiquette.
• Manage the children's personal belongings, including wardrobes, school uniforms, and toys.
• Organize and track activities and progress using logbooks, diaries, or apps.
• Collaborate effectively with the parent and other household staff to ensure a seamless and harmonious environment.

Qualifications & Requirements
• A strong educational background in child development, early years curriculum, or a related field.
• Proven experience teaching the Early Years curriculum, with a solid grasp of early numeracy and literacy.
• A valid driver's license and confidence in driving are essential.
• Proficient in providing homework and academic support.
• Skilled in child nutrition and meal preparation.
• Strong organisational and communication skills
