Private Tutor, Governor or Governess Role for B4.5 in Europe then Dubai or Singapore
A private family is seeking a qualified and experienced tutor/governor or governess to support the development of their 4.5-year-old son within a structured homeschooling environment. The family speaks English, Russian and Spanish. Candidates of either sex are welcome to apply, and the family may consider hiring more than one candidate.
The role combines structured academic learning with physical development and active play — including sports such as football and basketball, outdoor activities, early mathematics and games such as chess. A systematic and structured approach to learning is essential.
The position is currently travel-based across Europe, with the family relocating after the summer to either Dubai or Singapore – the final destination is still to be confirmed. Working hours are 8:00 AM–6:00 PM, five days per week, with some weekend work as required. There is an option to begin part-time and transition to full-time.
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
- Male or female candidates welcome
- Native-level English speaker with strong academic background
- Relevant teaching experience within international schools and private households preferred
- Structured and systematic approach to early years learning
- Sporty and active — able to organise physical activities, sports and games
- Confident incorporating early mathematics and problem-solving into sessions
- Professional, well-presented and discreet
- Comfortable working in a VIP household with NDA, cameras and strict confidentiality
- Flexible and adaptable to a travel-heavy lifestyle
- Confident driver a strong advantage
- Additional languages (Russian or Spanish) an advantage
