Balham (SW12) Exceptional full-time live-in (58-60 hrs weekly) nanny required for lovely family. (They’re open to live-out candidates who live locally, ideally within less than a 30-minute commute). 3 Children – B3.5 yrs, G2 yrs, G5 months old. £45,000 – £60,000 gross annually (MUST have minimum of 5 years solid nannying experience with multiple children)
The eldest will be four in July, his sister will be two in March, and the youngest was born in October 2025 (5 months old in March). The 3.5-year-old currently attends preschool five days per week (three full days + two mornings). In September, he will attend school full-time. The nearly two-year-old needs structured, activity-based days, outdoor time, creative play, and gentle boundaries. The family has membership passes for places such as Kew Gardens and would love a nanny who can come up with creative activities, especially classes that the baby and toddler can enjoy together. Baby care is currently shared with the Mum while she is on maternity leave until summer/autumn, after which the nanny will have sole charge.
The ideal candidate is a high-calibre career nanny with extensive experience in early years development, multi-child management, and confident communication skills. The family values well-being, manners, curiosity, and independence. Ideally, you’re seeking a long-term position (4-5 years).
Days / Hours: 58 hours a week – 07:00-19:00 Mon to Thurs. 07:00-17:00 Fri.
Start date: Ideally March/April (latest September).
Gross annual Salary; £45,000 to £60,000. Salary is dependant on experience and qualifications.
Live-in accommodation includes a private bedroom with an ensuite, own fridge, coffee machine, etc. The kitchen is shared with the family. The family is looking to move house (staying in a similar area).
Typical day;
Eldest is at preschool part time. The nanny will be responsible for pick up and drop off. Activities with girls in the morning (middle childs current timetable includes gymnastics, playball, dance/ballet, playgroup, monkey music, little kickers and swimming). You will get the children up and dressed in the morning and give them their breakfast. Drop off the eldest at nursery and manage, playground, park, walk, playgroups etc with the middle and youngest. Afternoons you’ll pick up the eldest from nursery if he finishes around lunchtime (3 days a week he finishes at 3pm), give the kids lunch, they’ll have naps or quiet time after, followed by afternoon play, dinner, bath and bedtime at 7pm.

Occasional travel with the family is appreciated but not required. Pet-free home with a weekly cleaner. School is a 30-minute walk, or an electric cargo bike is available. Parents work from home 1–2 days per week; they have very busy jobs, so this is a sole-charge role.
Interviews and trial/test days are happening immediately. The family would like to secure the placement as soon as possible, but is happy to wait for the right candidate if they cannot start until later in the year.
Candidates must a minimum of 5 years solid nannying experience with multiple children and have cared for kids of these ages, have a UK passport or legal right to work in the UK to be considered for this role as well as having a clean enhanced DBS and paediatric First Aid certificate.
